First story is two bad beats from the same tournament and same guy...
Bad Beat #1
I had a very nice sized stack, about 6.5K and the average was 2.5K.
I pickup KK in the Small Blind and two my delight someone raises all in to 4K (no one raised prior to this)...I delightfully called and saw him turn over Jacks...
Flop comes J K A
Turn 8
River J
At this point he now has about 8K in chips....A few hands later I see him pull the same thing but this time with 55! Someone calls him with AJ and takes some chips from him....
Bad Beat #2
A few hands later he goes all-in AGAIN....I look down at 99 on the button and think for awhile before making the call...Again I am ahead, he turns over 88
Flop 2 4 7
Turn 7
River 8
And...I exit the tourney.
Ring Game Bad Beat Miracle Set...
I'm playing $50NL against a very aggressive player...
In the BB I look down at KhKd
He raises to $1.50, I re-raise to $5 he raises to $10, I call.
Flop 10d7d2d
I go all in (about $35) and he calls with 99, not even a diamond in his hand...
Turn 9c
River 3c
It was a very bad day for me and really hurt my BR...I believe I was playing great poker all day and it just seemed that time after time everyone would suck out or catch their draws eliminating me from tourneys or felting me... In these situations do you think it's best to just stop playing for awhile or keep playing your normal game?
Thanks,
